Position: Senior Contract Specialist

Location: Minneapolis, MN (Onsite/Hybrid)


Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Contract Specialist to develop, negotiate, and manage a wide range of contracts across business operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in contract drafting, vendor negotiation, risk assessment, and financial analysis, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, negotiate, and maintain organization-wide contracts within assigned categories.

  • Collaborate with business owners to understand needs, define strategy, and lead vendor negotiations.

  • Draft and redline contracts and summaries using approved templates and legal language.

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and liability risks in contract agreements.

  • Facilitate stakeholder reviews and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Document savings and cost avoidance achieved through effective contract management.

  • Maintain accurate contract data within the contract management system.

  • Evaluate vendor performance and ensure adherence to contract terms and service levels.

  • Analyze opportunities for standardization and cost reduction to achieve organizational savings goals.

  • Lead or support process improvement initiatives related to contracting and vendor management.

  • Communicate contract strategies and outcomes effectively with cross-functional teams.


Required Qualifications:
