Job description

Title: Senior Client Support Engineer
Location: Nashville, TN ( w/ occasional travel )
Duration: 6-Month W2 Contract
Compensation: $35-37/hr
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders
The Senior Client Support Engineer role will provide support for end users by troubleshooting hardware, software, mobile devices, printers, phones, conference room technology, and other office equipment. Resolve technical issues received, assist with user moves and equipment deployments, manage account access, and collaborate with other IT teams to ensure timely issue resolution and ongoing support.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide phone, remote, and onsite technical support for hardware, software, and user account issues.
  • Resolve incidents and service requests, escalating or routing issues when appropriate.
  • Install, configure, and support desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, IP phones, and audio/visual equipment.
  • Assist with user onboarding, equipment moves, and asset lifecycle activities.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and identify recurring issues to improve support processes.
  • Coordinate help desk projects, mentor junior technicians, and partner with internal IT teams to support business operations.
  • Leverage scripting and automation to improve efficiency and support continuous process improvements.

Qualifications:
  • Strong customer service and advanced troubleshooting skills in Microsoft Windows environments.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Azure AD, Microsoft 365/Exchange Online, SCCM, Intune, PowerShell, and endpoint management.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, IP networking), virtualization (Hyper-V), Outlook, browsers, and Apple/Android mobile devices.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced support environment.
  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience). A+, Network+, and Microsoft Azure certifications are a plus.
