Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Sr. Capture Manager - Department of the Army to join a rapidly growing federal technology and defense contractor. The Sr.

Capture Manager will be responsible for leading strategic captures across the Army, driving opportunity identification, qualification, shaping, teaming, and proposal execution for high-value pursuits focused on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud modernization, and digital transformation initiatives. Responsibilities for the Sr. Capture Manager - Army includes: • Partner with Business Development leadership to identify, qualify, and prioritize strategic opportunities aligned with organizational growth objectives.

• Lead the full capture lifecycle for complex federal opportunities, from early opportunity shaping through proposal submission and award. • Develop and execute comprehensive capture strategies aligned with customer mission objectives, acquisition strategies, funding timelines, and procurement vehicles. • Build and lead cross-functional capture teams consisting of business development, solution architects, proposal managers, pricing teams, contracts personnel, recruiting teams, and delivery leadership.

• Establish and maintain trusted relationships with Army decision-makers, acquisition personnel, program offices, and industry partners. • Conduct competitive intelligence assessments, identify discriminator strategies, and develop compelling win themes and value propositions. • Drive teaming partner identification, evaluation, negotiation, and engagement activities to strengthen competitive positioning.

• Collaborate with proposal teams to ensure compliant, compelling, and strategically aligned proposal submissions. • Support solution development efforts for opportunities involving AI, cybersecurity, cloud computing, digital engineering, and enterprise modernization initiatives. Qualifications for the Sr.

Capture Manager - Army includes: • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred. • 10+ years of capture management experience supporting federal government opportunities. • Minimum of 5 years of experience leading successful captures within the Department of the Air Force market.

• Demonstrated success winning complex full-and-open competitions, large unrestricted pursuits, or strategic small business opportunities. • Deep understanding of federal acquisition processes and contract vehicles including IDIQs, GWACs, BPAs, OTAs, and task order competitions. • Proven experience developing and executing capture strategies for opportunities exceeding multi-million-dollar contract values.

• Strong knowledge of Army organizations, acquisition environments, mission priorities, and procurement processes.
