Job Overview
The Specialist will be responsible for managing SEM campaigns for the Macy's business. Your role would involve creating, managing, and optimizing SEM campaigns across various search engine partners. Key duties may include conducting keyword research, analyzing campaign performance data, writing and implementing ad copy. It would involve managing complex bid strategies to ensure maximum ROAS. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
What You Will Do
  • Develop and implement successful SEM campaign across various platforms, including Google Ads, Bing, and other platforms
  • Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify valuable keywords and optimize campaigns for better performance
  • Write compelling ad copy and recommend effective landing pages to improve click-through and conversion rates
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance data to identify areas of improvement and adjust campaigns accordingly
  • Stay up to date with industry trends new advertising platforms, and changes to advertising policies to ensure compliance and maximize campaign success
  • Collaborate with other marketing team members, such as comms planning, marketing effectiveness, site-merchandisers
  • Provide regular reports on campaign performance and communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Manage SEM budgets and allocate spending to maximize ROAS
  • Available during Peak holiday season to ensure campaign performance
  • Conduct testing and other experiments to improve campaign performance and identify best practices
  • Continuously optimize campaigns to improve performance metrics, such as conversion rates, ROAS
  • This role involves performing essential job functions such as communication, collaboration, and use of office and computer systems. Responsibilities include the ability to access and review written and electronic information, and to move within the work environment and interact with workplace materials as needed to carry out job responsibilities.

Who You Are
  • Candidates with a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field are encouraged to apply. 1 -3 years experience.
  • Experience in keyword research, ad creation, and landing page optimization.
  • Proficiency in analytic tools such as Google / Adobe Analytics to analyze campaign performance and make data-driven decisions.
  • Knowledge of bidding strategies and budget management to maximize key metrics and KPIs such as conversation rate, CPCs, ROI, ROAS.
  • Proven track record of successful SEM campaign management and achieving business goals.
  • Hands on experience with Skai platform (formerly Kenshoo), and shopping feed management tools like ProductsUp.
  • Certification such as Google Ads and Google Analytics are highly desirable.
  • Experience in testing and experimenting with different ad formats or hypotheses to optimize campaign performance.
  • Practices open and continuous communication, values keeping others informed, effectively presenting information in a clear, concise manner.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across functional lines and at many levels.
  • Ability to think creatively, strategically, and technically.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and Company needs.
