Job description

BOS Security is seeking a full-time Security Training Instructor in Sioux Falls, South Dakota (FSD). The STI will have overall responsibility for the training of personnel supporting the ACY contract.
Candidate must be currently certified as a Security Training Instructor (STI) with the Transportation Security Administration. Others will not be considered.
Responsibilities:
Manage and deliver training material and maintain communication with local supervisors concerning training issues that may reveal security-screening weaknesses or vulnerabilities.
Develop a training plan to articulate how all TSA training requirements can be met within TSA's acceptable quality levels.
Provide screening instruction to ensure compliance with training standards and updated screening directives and procedures.
Provide Baggage security screening at local airport where security screening services occur.
Shall ensure newly hired security screeners successfully complete the required New Hire Training Program (NHTP)
Must perform screening duties for at least 20% of the time to stay proficient to instruct.
Security Requirement:
Secret Clearance is required. Candidates will have a current Secret Clearance.
Qualifications:
Current certification as a Security Training Instructor with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
