BAE Systems is seeking a Program Manager in support of Advanced Tactical Radios. Within this role, your will be supporting our C4ISR area of business. This position is the management of program(s) for the overall performance to ensure that objectives are met. This will include the ability to work with internal and external customers, as well as, driving all functional areas.
Responsibilities will include:
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft Office suite to prepare and provide reporting and utilize information to make decisions.
  • Meeting with customers, such as USG, foreign and domestic companies.
  • Work with the Operations team to ensure product deliveries are prioritized and managed effectively.
  • Understanding of financial will be used to mangement program(s) and report to leadership.
  • Communication is a key factor to this job with the ability to be highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Position is designed to provide experience to lead to growth opportunities.

Required Skills and Education
  • This position needs experience in program/project management and/or Cost Account Manager (CAM) training.
  • Job will utilize soft skills of communication, effective leadership, and ability to manage many situations simultaneously. There will be interaction with multiple functions and personalities to include individuals in Engineering, Operations, Contracts, Finance, as well as, customers (internal/external).
  • Presentations will be expected to leadership to report status and answer questions.
  • While a Security clearance is not mandatory, the ability to obtain one is.

Preferred Skills and Education
  • Bachelor's degree or higher and 6+ years of experience.
  • Preference for any of the following (Optional): Engineering education/background; PMP training/certification; Finance background.
