Job description

Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Facilities and Asset Management, Mission Support Facilities Division, 3 vacancies in the following locations:
  • Aliso Viejo, CA
  • Euless, TX
  • Indianapolis, IN
Additional selections may be made to include other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above.Qualifications:Experience GS-13: You qualify for the GS-13 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as:
  • Implementing and monitoring maintenance, repair, and operations programs.
  • Performing analytical studies related to programming, budget planning, financial management, project control, acquisition of supplies and equipment logistics management, security management, staff management, and information technology support.
  • Advising management and other stakeholders on the results and implications of strategic planning studies and analyses and making recommendations for process improvement.
  • Measuring program and project performance, developing data-driven recommendations for improvement, and implementing new program strategies and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Meet all qualification requirements, including education if applicable to this position, subject to verification at any stage of the application process; and
  • Meet all applicable Time in Grade requirements (current federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade or equivalent grade band in the federal service) by 07/13/2026.
