Security Valet Officer

Security Valet Officer

Location: Weirton, WV

Schedule: Open Availability AM Shifts | Monday-Sunday | 7am-3pm

Pay Rate: $14.71 per hour

About the Role

We are seeking dependable and professional Security Valet Officers to join our team in Weirton, WV. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of people, property, and information at assigned locations. The ideal candidate demonstrates professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and effective in both routine and emergency situations.

Please Note: Valet services may be incorporated into this Security Officer position.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas (on foot or by vehicle) to ensure safety and prevent unauthorized activity
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and access points to verify authorized personnel and visitors
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations (fire, medical, or security-related)
  • Maintain vigilance and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or maintenance concerns
  • Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a visible and professional security presence
  • Prepare accurate and timely incident reports, daily activity logs, and required documentation
  • Enforce site rules, policies, and regulations in a fair and professional manner
  • Assist with crowd management, visitor guidance, and emergency evacuations when necessary
Requirements
  • Clear criminal background check and drug screen
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Open availability for morning shifts (7am-3pm)
  • High school diploma or GED required
Qualifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong observation skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and sound judgment
  • Previous experience in security, customer service, or related fields preferred but not required — training provided
