Position: Executive Secretary
Location: Central Office
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience supporting an executive, superintendent, CEO, or elected official.
• Experience in a school district, government, or public-sector environment.
• Experience preparing official meeting minutes.
• Knowledge of Louisiana public meeting laws.
• Strong proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite and Content Creation Platforms.
• Experience creating professional graphics, print marketing, and promotional materials.
• Experience with meeting and event planning and coordination.
• Excellent proofreading, editing, and document preparation skills.
Job Duties:
• Provide confidential, professional, and highly organized administrative support to the Superintendent and School Board Members.
• Maintain calendars, appointments, correspondence, and daily priorities.
• Coordinate and assist with board meetings, district and special events.
• Prepare and disseminate agendas, meeting materials, notices, invitations, presentations, and other communication.
• Act as a Board Clerk, attend and participate in all board and committee meetings, including those scheduled outside of normal business hours.
• Maintain accurate meeting minutes and official records.
• Ensure compliance with Louisiana public meeting laws, notices, agendas, and procedures.
• Create marketing materials, invitations, flyers, programs, and other visual communications.
• Communicate effectively with staff, board members, vendors, community partners, and the public.
• Anticipate needs, independently resolve challenges, and take initiative to keep projects and responsibilities moving forward.

Starting Salary: $ 34,094
