Summary:
Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. This is a dual position that includes the job responsibilities of a Patient Care Technician, a Cardiac Monitor Technician, a Visual Monitor, a Mental Health/Patient Care Technician, or a Unit Secretary.
Minimum Qualifications:

Required Certification: BLS (Basic Life Support)
Minimum requirements include one of the following: 6 months acute care experience; or 1-year Skilled Nursing Facility experience; or successfully completes a BayCare sponsored Nursing Assistant or PCT Internship; or completed a PCT or Nursing Assistant program which includes at least 40 hours of an external clinical component.
Preferred Experience: 1 year - Hospital in related field.
