Description

The Petro Pool Membership Associate must have excellent interpersonal/ human relations skills, including the ability to establish and maintain a positive work environment with staff and members and possess the ability to resolve conflict in a professional manner.


The Community Pool is open from June 22nd to August 16th. Hours are Monday through Sunday, 11:00am-5:00pm (subject to change with extra programming). A regular schedule will be provided.ย 


Essential Functions:

  • Greet all members coming in when scanning their membership passes & create a friendly atmosphere at the Pool
  • Provide accurate information about programs, YMCA memberships and policies to members & potential membersย 
  • Promote membership at the YMCA and present new member materials to establish and engage potential new members including the sales of new membership enrollments
  • Responsible for entering member cancellations and follow up with phone calls as neededย 
  • Assist with any administrative tasks, member requests and follow front desk procedures
  • Follow all guidelines and policies according to the YMCA of Central Massachusetts including following emergency procedures when necessaryย 
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed


Qualifications:

  • At least 18 years old
  • At least one year of customer service experience preferred
  • Able to navigate computer related systems


Job Type: Seasonal

Schedule: Shifts will be between the hours of 11am to 5pm Monday-Sunday. Please tell us your availability!

Pay: $16.00/hour. Plus, access to facilities to all YMCA employees, Employee Assistance Program, and Sick Leave.
