Job description

This is a part-time, non-benefit position (32 hours per pay period) working 8-hour varied weekend shifts. The position is located at Scripps Anderson Medical Pavilion and primarily supports the Nuclear Medicine department, with floating to MRI as needed.

Join Scripps Clinic as an RN - Specialized Services - Nuclear Cardiology, where you will facilitate cardiac stress testing under physician supervision, administer pharmacologic agents in conjunction with imaging studies, perform 12-lead EKGs, and monitor for arrhythmias and ST changes.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, medication administration, adjunct nuclear medicine medications, patient education, documentation, infection control, and collaboration with physicians and clinical staff to deliver quality patient care within your scope of practice.

Anderson V Medical Pavilion, located on the Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla campus, provides a comprehensive, "one-stop" healthcare experience for the greater San Diego region. Required Qualifications:

  • BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association
  • ADN or nursing diploma
  • CA RN License
  • Minimum 1 year RN experience in Cardiology

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BSN
  • EKG experience
  • Experience administering adjunct nuclear medicine medications, including Lasix (furosemide), morphine, and Kinevac (sincalide).
