What types of support and mentorship are available for nurses participating in the Seasonal RN Periop 101 Program?

Nurses enrolled in the Seasonal RN Periop 101 Program typically receive comprehensive support through dedicated preceptors, access to clinical educators, and structured mentorship from experienced perioperative nurses. The program often includes both classroom instruction and hands-on clinical experiences, allowing participants to build confidence while being guided through new procedures and protocols. Regular feedback sessions and collaborative teamwork with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and fellow nurses help foster a supportive environment, making the transition into the perioperative setting smoother and more successful.

What is a Seasonal RN Periop 101 Program?

A Seasonal RN Periop 101 Program is a temporary nursing position designed for registered nurses who want to gain foundational training in perioperative (surgical) nursing.
