Description

Summary:

Who We Are

At Brush Creek Ranch — one of Wyoming's premier luxury guest ranches — we are more than just a destination; we are an experience. Nestled in the stunning Snowy Range mountains near Saratoga, Wyoming, we offer luxury adventure in the great outdoors. Working at Brush Creek Ranch means joining a team dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences for our guests. With a commitment to hospitality and service excellence, we foster an environment where you can thrive, grow, and bring your best self to work every day.

The Cheyenne Club is the signature fine dining restaurant at Brush Creek Ranch — an upscale, guest-focused dining destination where culinary excellence and genuine Western hospitality come together for an unforgettable ranch dining experience. We are hiring an Expeditor — also known as a Food Runner, Expo, or Kitchen Expeditor — to serve as the critical communication link between our culinary and front-of-house teams. If you're a detail-oriented hospitality professional with a passion for fast-paced restaurant operations and a commitment to flawless food delivery, this is your opportunity to play a key role in one of Wyoming's most celebrated luxury ranch dining experiences. This role is ideal for candidates seeking seasonal ranch jobs in Wyoming, restaurant expeditor jobs at a luxury resort, or hospitality positions that combine great pay, free housing, free meals, and access to the breathtaking outdoor lifestyle of the Rocky Mountain West.

Responsibilities:

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the primary communication link between the Cheyenne Club culinary team and front-of-house service staff — ensuring accurate, timely, and beautifully presented food reaches every guest at this luxury Wyoming ranch restaurant
  • Coordinate the flow of orders from the kitchen to the dining room — maintaining efficiency, organization, and service momentum across all meal periods at Brush Creek Ranch
  • Review every plate for accuracy, presentation, and completeness before it leaves the kitchen — ensuring strict adherence to Cheyenne Club culinary standards and guest expectations
  • Communicate guest requests, dietary restrictions, allergies, and special instructions clearly and promptly between the front-of-house service team and culinary staff
  • Prioritize and organize food tickets to support smooth, high-volume service and minimize guest wait times throughout every shift
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expo line, service stations, and work areas throughout service
  • Monitor ticket times and collaborate actively with chefs and service staff to address delays and maintain the exceptional dining experience Brush Creek Ranch guests expect
  • Support restaurant operations by assisting with food running when necessary — ensuring seamless coordination between all departments during peak service periods
  • Maintain expert knowledge of Cheyenne Club menu offerings, ingredients, preparation methods, and daily specials to support accurate communication across all teams
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall operation of the Cheyenne Club at Brush Creek Ranch

What You'll Bring

  • Prior restaurant expeditor, food runner, or kitchen expo experience preferred — not required; we will train the right candidate with sharp attention to detail and a genuine passion for hospitality
  • A strong commitment to exceptional guest service and ensuring every dish is delivered accurately, efficiently, and beautifully at a luxury ranch fine dining destination
  • Excellent communication skills — with the ability to coordinate clearly and calmly between multiple teams in a fast-paced, high-volume luxury ranch restaurant environment
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail — particularly regarding food presentation, order accuracy, and service timing
  • The ability to remain calm, focused, and positive during high-volume service periods — you are the steady center of a busy kitchen pass
  • Working knowledge of restaurant operations, food service standards, and basic food safety practices
  • A team-oriented mindset and genuine willingness to support both front-of-house and culinary teams — you take pride in the shared success of every service
  • Physical ability to stand and move at a fast pace for extended periods throughout each shift in an active ranch restaurant environment

Other information:

What You Can Look Forward To

  • Ranch-provided employee housing offered at a subsidized rate
  • 3 meals per day at no cost to the associate
  • Access to hiking, mountain biking, and fishing on neighboring national forest land
  • Unlimited employee referral bonuses
  • 401(k) with company match after 1 month — full-time associates
  • Numerous employee engagement activities and a positive work environment
  • Discounts on hotel rooms, dining, and other travel and entertainment experiences
  • Multiple opportunities for growth across our luxury ranch network
  • Full-time and seasonal associates also receive:
    • Medical, dental, and vision insurance — starting day 1

At Brush Creek Ranch, we are an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion. All qualified applicants will be considered regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
