Field Operations Manager

Tauzer Apiaries | Woodland, CA


Tauzer Apiaries is hiring a Field Operations Manager to help lead one of Californiaโ€™s established commercial beekeeping operations.


This role is responsible for leading multi-crew field execution across pollination, hive management, and seasonal agricultural cycles throughout Northern California. We operate at scale and under real seasonal pressure. This position requires discipline, decision-making ability, and leadership presence in the field.


Tauzer Apiaries is a second-generation family agricultural business based in Woodland, CA. For over five decades we have provided pollination services, queen bees, and varietal honey to growers across multiple counties. We are strengthening our field leadership team to support long-term stability and growth.


About the Role


This is a hands-on leadership position with real responsibility. You will oversee bilingual field crews, execute seasonal operational plans, and ensure strong communication and accountability across the field organization.


Responsibilities include:

โ€ข Leading and developing Spanish-speaking field crews

โ€ข Executing pollination moves, hive inspections, splits, treatments, and seasonal plans

โ€ข Driving consistency and efficiency across multiple work sites

โ€ข Coordinating closely with logistics, safety, and executive leadership

โ€ข Maintaining safety compliance and operational standards

โ€ข Holding crews accountable to clear performance expectations

What Weโ€™re Looking For

โ€ข 5+ years in commercial agriculture or large-scale field operations

โ€ข Demonstrated experience leading labor-intensive crews

โ€ข Strong bilingual communication (English/Spanish required)

โ€ข Physically capable of working in demanding field conditions

โ€ข Organized, structured, and capable of executing complex seasonal plans

โ€ข CDL or heavy equipment experience is a plus
