Tauzer Apiaries is hiring a Field Operations Manager to help lead one of Californiaโs established commercial beekeeping operations.
This role is responsible for leading multi-crew field execution across pollination, hive management, and seasonal agricultural cycles throughout Northern California. We operate at scale and under real seasonal pressure. This position requires discipline, decision-making ability, and leadership presence in the field.
Tauzer Apiaries is a second-generation family agricultural business based in Woodland, CA. For over five decades we have provided pollination services, queen bees, and varietal honey to growers across multiple counties. We are strengthening our field leadership team to support long-term stability and growth.
About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership position with real responsibility. You will oversee bilingual field crews, execute seasonal operational plans, and ensure strong communication and accountability across the field organization.
Responsibilities include:
โข Leading and developing Spanish-speaking field crews
โข Executing pollination moves, hive inspections, splits, treatments, and seasonal plans
โข Driving consistency and efficiency across multiple work sites
โข Coordinating closely with logistics, safety, and executive leadership
โข Maintaining safety compliance and operational standards
โข Holding crews accountable to clear performance expectations

What Weโre Looking For
โข 5+ years in commercial agriculture or large-scale field operations
โข Demonstrated experience leading labor-intensive crews
โข Strong bilingual communication (English/Spanish required)
โข Ability to stay steady under seasonal pressure
โข Physically capable of working in demanding field conditions
โข Organized, structured, and capable of executing complex seasonal plans
โข CDL or heavy equipment experience is a plus

Compensation is $90,000 to $110,000 depending on depth of experience. PTO and benefits eligibility included.
