Operations Manager (CDL Required) – Warehouse, Fleet & Seasonal Operations

Andover, KS, Towanda, Wichita area

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly dependable, hands-on Operations Manager to serve as a key full-time leader within our organization. This individual will act as a second-in-command to senior leadership, ensuring the day-to-day execution of warehouse operations, transportation logistics, fleet maintenance, and seasonal business activities.

This is a working leadership role—ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is willing to step in wherever needed to keep operations running smoothly.


Key Responsibilities:Operations & Leadership
  • Serve as a trusted operational leader supporting executive management
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations including order fulfillment, picking, and inventory flow
  • Supervise and direct warehouse staff to ensure efficiency and accuracy
  • Step in to solve problems quickly and keep operations moving
Transportation & CDL Responsibilities
  • Operate company vehicles as needed Class A CDL required
  • Move trailers, assist with logistics, and support delivery schedules
  • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies
Fleet & Equipment Maintenance
  • Perform basic maintenance and coordinate repairs on trucks, trailers, and equipment
  • Monitor fleet condition and ensure operational readiness
  • Work with vendors/mechanics when needed
Seasonal Operations (Pumpkin Patch & Events)
  • Oversee seasonal operations including pumpkin patches and customer activities
  • Manage setup, staffing, and day-to-day execution of seasonal events
  • Ensure a high-quality customer experience
General Operational Support
  • Act as a ā€œgo-toā€ problem solver across departments
  • Assist with facility upkeep and operational improvements

Qualifications:Required:
  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Proven experience in warehouse operations and/or logistics
  • Strong mechanical aptitude (equipment, trucks, trailers)
  • Leadership or supervisory experience
  • Ability to work long hours and flexible schedules during peak seasons
Preferred:
  • Experience managing seasonal operations or events
  • Knowledge of DOT compliance and transportation regulations
