Job description

This position serves as a Maintenance Mechanic with the Gateway National Recreation Area.
The typical seasonal entry-on-duty period for Seasonal Staffing Office-Gateway National Recreation Area is October - March, but can be variable during these months due to weather conditions, project needs, or funding. Anticipated Entry on Duty: October 2026Qualifications:In order to be qualified for this position you must possess the ability to do the work of the position with no more than normal supervision. Experience must be demonstrated in the following trades: Masonry, Electrical, Plumbing, and Painting.
You must provide specific examples in your resume of how you meet the qualification listed above. We will not assume you possess experience simply because you have held a particular job title, series, or grade.
