Job Title: Landscape Mechanic / Small Engine Technician
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Landscape Mechanic to maintain, diagnose, and repair commercial landscape equipment, with a strong focus on 2-cycle and small engine repair. This role supports our field operations by ensuring equipment is safe, reliable, and ready for daily use.
Salary
$20-$24 per hour

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain 2-cycle engines (trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, hedge trimmers, etc.)
  • Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on commercial landscape equipment, including mowers and small engines
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and fuel system issues
  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate service and repair records
  • Coordinate repairs to minimize equipment downtime
  • Operate company vehicles to transport equipment as needed
  • Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience repairing small engines and commercial landscape equipment
  • Strong knowledge of 2-cycle engine repair
  • Experience with commercial-grade landscape equipment preferred
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for at least 3 consecutive years
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
