Responsibilities

  • Assist clients withย daily living activitiesย such asย bathing,ย dressing,ย grooming, andย mobilityย to enhance comfort and independence
  • Provideย companionshipย and emotional support to fosterย social engagementย and reduce feelings of isolation
  • Medication remindersย according to care plans and document all care provided with attention to detail
  • Monitor clientsโ€™ health status, report any changes or concerns promptly to healthcare professionals or family members
  • Support clients withย light housekeeping tasks,ย meal preparation, andย transportationย to appointments or errands
  • Follow established care protocols while maintaining aย safe environmentย for clients at all times

Requirements

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States, must be able to Read, Write, andย Speak English, and have clear andย strong communication skills
  • Must pass aย criminal background checkย (Federal, State/CBI, Local, DMV, CAPS, DORA, OIG)
  • Must pass aย drug panelย including activeย marijuanaย use
  • Must be willing to comply with state required seasonal flu vaccinations
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to provideย transportationย for client inย personal vehicle
  • Ability to follow detailed care instructions accurately
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and assisting clients withย mobilityย needs safely
  • Must be able to stoop or bend repeatedly, carry bundles, and assist clients with transfers and general mobility/stability.
  • Prior experienceย working as an In Home Caregiver or in related settings such as geriatrics, post-acute care, or outpatient clinics is highly preferred
  • Experience withย dementiaย clients and their unique needs is highly preferred
  • Active CNA Certificate is required for this position.
