Position Overview:
The Paver Operator is responsible for operating asphalt paving machines to lay smooth, consistent asphalt surfaces.
Responsibilities:
Operate asphalt paver and screed safely and efficiently
Adjust screed for proper depth and grade
Communicate with crew to maintain steady material flow
Perform daily equipment inspections
Maintain clean, safe operation of equipment
Qualifications:
Previous asphalt paver experience required
Ability to read grade and elevation
Strong understanding of paving operations
Mechanical knowledge a plus
