Sullivan Golf Club is an 18-hole golf course operated by Walters Golf Management.

Sullivan Golf Club is looking to hire multiple Golf Course Maintenance employees. Under the direction of the General Manager and Superintendent, the employee works cooperatively in tending to daily golf course operational needs and assisting in completing golf course projects in a timely fashion. These employees also assist in maintaining a clean service area and maintenance building, and warrants safety procedures a top priority.


The ideal candidate for this position will be reliable, works well with others, and energetic in an outdoor environment.


Open to all applicants looking to looking to work at a golf course or looking for an outside work environment with a valid driver's license.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

*Maintains all grounds including the golf course, clubhouse surroundings and other maintainable property

*Maintains greens, tees, fairways, trees, and rough through mowing, trimming, and edging

*Removal of trash and storm clean up on a need basis

*Raking and spinning of sand bunkers

*Care of golf course from tee placement, yardage marking, sign placement, and pin locations

*Requires communication daily with Superintendents

*Flexible schedule with up to 30-39 hours of work available per week (part-time positions available)

*Typical shifts vary from 5:30am - 2pm Monday-Thursday and 5am-10am Friday-Sunday

*Assist in cleaning and sanitizing golf course equipment

*Assist in cleaning and sanitizing of maintenance shed

*Follows safety programs daily

*Ensures the golf course is providing healthy and high-quality playing conditions for guests of the property.

*Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

*Training provided for all duties

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

*High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

*1 year of golf course maintenance or equivalent preferred

*Valid Driver’s License Required

*Must be organized and efficient with attention to detail

*Must have exceptional communication skills

*Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

*Ability to work some weekend and holiday mornings


Salary Description: $14 -$15/ Hour, depending on experience
