Who We're Looking For
The Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Manager owns strategy, execution, and performance of paid search programs. This role is responsible for driving measurable business outcomes, leading campaign strategy, and mentoring team members while aligning search efforts to broader marketing and revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead SEM strategy across Google Ads and other search platforms
  • Oversee campaign structure, scaling strategies, and ongoing optimization
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and performance against KPIs such as CPA, ROAS, and revenue
  • Translate business goals into measurable paid search strategies and execution plans
  • Lead testing roadmaps including bidding strategies, audience targeting, and creative
  • Analyze performance data and deliver insights to stakeholders and clients
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with strategy, analytics, and creative teams
  • Ensure accurate tracking, attribution, and data integrity across campaigns
  • Mentor and support junior team members
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of SEM / paid search experience
  • Proven ability to manage and scale high-performing campaigns
  • Deep expertise in Google Ads, including bidding strategies and optimization techniques
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
  • Experience managing budgets and forecasting performance
  • Ability to communicate performance insights clearly to stakeholders
  • Experience in an agency environment
  • Experience mentoring or managing team members
  • Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms
