Compensation
  • Base pay starting at $50,000 per year

Job Duties
The Affiliate & Search Engine Marketing Specialist manages Blain's affiliate programs through all phases, including strategy, implementation, and performance analysis. This role is also responsible for creating, executing, and monitoring social marketing campaigns, both organic and paid, to enhance brand visibility, drive traffic, and engage audiences across digital platforms. The specialist collaborates with internal teams and external partners to ensure the success of affiliate and social marketing initiatives, contributing to the overall growth of the company's online presence and sales.
Search Engine Marketing
  • Oversee agency execution of paid search campaigns (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads), ensuring alignment with business objectives and performance targets.
  • Evaluate and provide direction on keyword strategy, campaign structure, and audience targeting developed by the agency.
  • Partner with agency to optimize budget allocation, bidding strategies, and pacing to maximize ROI and efficiency.
  • Review campaign performance regularly, challenging assumptions, and identifying opportunities to improve scale and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and agency to align landing pages with SEM efforts, improving Quality Score and conversion rates.
  • Guide A/B testing roadmaps with agency across ad copy, landing pages, and bidding strategies, ensuring actionable insights are applied.
  • Translate agency reporting into clear, business-focused insights and recommendations for internal stakeholders.

Affiliates
  • Actively manage the agency relationship with Commission Junction, including affiliate relations, recruitment, budget, metrics, and strategy development
  • Set and work toward affiliate channel revenue goals
  • Work with Blain's merchants and digital marketing team to traffic affiliate offers to publishers
  • Monitoring affiliate activity to ensure affiliate compliance with company policies and brand guidelines in all online channels
  • Negotiate and evaluate affiliate advertising agreements and commission rates
  • Regularly monitor campaign performance & Monitor competitors' affiliate campaigns and promotions
  • Compile campaign performance reports

Farmandfleet.com Support
  • Support the management and optimization of FarmandFleet.com's homepage, ensuring content, promotions, and messaging align with business priorities and campaign objectives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (merchandising, marketing, UX) to plan and execute homepage updates that drive engagement, traffic flow, and conversion.
  • Analyze homepage performance and user behavior, recommending improvements to layout, content placement, and promotional strategy to enhance customer experience.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's in communications, marketing, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 1-3 years' experience with affiliate & social marketing, digital advertising or similar.
  • Familiarity with affiliate and social marketing networks and search engine marketing
  • Proven record in negotiation and management of online media campaigns
  • Knowledge in ad-serving technologies and social media tools
  • Experience in campaign management
  • Understanding of performance metrics and KPIs for both affiliate and social campaigns.
  • Awareness of SEO principles as they relate to social media and affiliate marketing.
