Position Summary: We are seeking a passionate and motivated Seafood Sales Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for promoting and selling a variety of seafood products to our customers, building strong relationships with new and existing clients, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of seafood products, excellent communication skills, and a customer-first mindset.

What you’ll do:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Provide expert advice on seafood selection, preparation, and sustainability to customers.
  • Respond to inquiries, provide product recommendations, and close sales efficiently.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the full range of seafood products offered, including sourcing, seasonal availability, quality standards, and culinary applications.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, market pricing, and competitor offerings to effectively position products in the marketplace.
  • Demonstrate the unique selling points of products, such as sustainability, freshness, and quality, to customers.
  • Track sales activities and progress, reporting to management on performance and customer feedback.
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts and reports on product sales, inventory levels, and customer trends.

About you:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the food industry or seafood sector.
  • Strong knowledge of seafood products, including types of fish, shellfish, and crustaceans.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
  • Self-motivated and goal-driven with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and basic sales tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
