eCommerce Technical Lead
Location: Ft. Lauderdale, FL - Onsite 4 days/week
Type: 6-month Contract-to-Hire
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced eCommerce Technical Lead with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in team leadership. This role will drive the architecture, development, and data infrastructure of our digital commerce platform while guiding the engineering team.
The ideal candidate will combine deep web development expertise with advanced knowledge of Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch, and Google Analytics, ensuring a high-performing storefront supported by accurate, compliant data tracking.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead engineering team and serve as primary architect for data collection systems.
  • Design and implement scalable solutions across enterprise commerce platforms (Shopify Plus, Adobe Commerce/Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or headless architectures).
  • Configure Adobe Launch (AEP Data Collection Web SDK, Edge Network).
  • Write custom JavaScript within tag management systems to parse and validate complex data payloads.
  • Drive analytics strategy using Adobe Analytics (SDR design, custom eVars, props, success events) and Google Analytics 4 (custom dimensions, parameters, event structures).
Required Skills
  • 5+ years of enterprise commerce platform development.
  • Proficiency in modern programming languages (JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, PHP, Liquid/Ruby).
