Description

SAIC is looking for a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) Tier 1 System Administrator with a TS/SCI clearance who is experienced in providing administrative and specific job task support in a classified network systems environment in San Diego, CA.

Job Tasks:

  • Operate and maintain Information Technology assets such as Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS) workstations, and Video Teleconference Communications (VTC) equipment capabilities; schedule VTCs using the JWICS scheduler; coordinate with technical support personnel to assist in troubleshooting or reporting issues; and create/delete/maintain user accounts.
  • Plan and schedule all required inspection and accreditation activities to ensure continuous access to the SCIF for planning and operations.
  • Maintain workstations in compliance with Information Assurance (IA), Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), and Cyber Security Work Force (CSWF) standards and ensure appropriate accreditation documentation is available for the SCIF.
  • Serve as a Communications Security Material Systems (CMS) user and be responsible for all regulations related to being a Communications Security (COMSEC) user including receiving, documenting, tracking, inventorying, and destroying COMSEC material in accordance with COMSEC guidelines.
  • Coordinate daily operations of the SCIF and serve as a conduit to the Special Security Representative (SSR). Interface between current and future SCIF Tenants.
  • Provide Common Access Card (CAC) access to users as granted by the SSR, maintain accountability of personnel working in the SCIF and ensure that they adhere to SCIF policies, ensure all SCI material is maintained and destroyed in accordance with DoD 5105.21-M-1 and report/document SCI security incidents to the SSR.
  • Maintain the SCIF calendar of events and meetings.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors and two (2) years or more experience; Masters and zero (0) years or more experience; 4 Additional and applicable years or more experience in lieu of degree is acceptable.
  • Minimum of four (4) years or more experience with classified network systems administration.
  • Experience collaborating as a Team in the classified facility environment
  • Windows 10/11 Certification Desired

Security Clearance: 

  • US Citizen with an active TS/SCI

Required Skills: 

  • Ability to work with and build relationships with a variety of stakeholders, government technical representatives, and other supporting contractors
  • Excellent written and oral communications
  • Ability to work independently or in a team collaborative environment 
  • Ability to brief senior government personnel
  • Ability to explore and examine data from multiple disparate sources with the goal of drawing conclusions to address business problems

Desired Skills and Certifications: 

  • Degree in Science, Engineering or Math

Desired Experience:

  • Understanding of the DOD acquisition process, PEO C4I and NAVWAR. 
  • Prior experience working with Navy information systems software application tools such as DOD Information Technology Portfolio Repository – Department of the Navy (DITPR-DON), Department of the Navy (DON) Application and Database Management System (DADMS), Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS), Vulnerability Remediation Asset Manager (VRAM) and/or Exacta.   
  • Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, Security + Network Plus. 
  • Experience with RMF and NIST compliance standards.
  • Experience with US Navy C4I systems, Information Assurance and Cybersecurity. 
  • Knowledge of Linux or Windows OS, network protocols, web services, databases, scripting, and firewalls.
