SCIF Management Security Operations

Advantage SCI is seeking a SCIF Management Security Operations to be considered for employment. Individual will support government Accrediting Officials (AO) in the accreditation and inspection of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs). Provide comprehensive guidance and instructions to a diverse customer base throughout DIA and DOD on security policy, procedures, techniques, equipment, and methods as it pertains to the Technical Specifications for Construction and Management of SCIFs. Conduct or support the periodic security inspections of cleared facilities to ensure compliance with applicable DOD and IC policy. Travel within the CONUS and OCONUS to conduct or support facility inspections/walkthroughs may be required as mission dictates.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Contemporary experience as a SCIF SSO or Accrediting Official of at least 36 months with no breaks.
  • Completion of ICD 705 Course and Security Officials Course.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking abilities with a focus on analyzing key information and evaluating the effectiveness of alternative solutions, courses of action, and strategies needed to address complex, controversial, and multi-faceted security issues.
  • Possess the ability to synthesize and evaluate data from sources that may contain partial, highly complex, seemingly unrelated, technically sophisticated, unusual, or subtle information and extract relevant information to provide written or oral summaries to management officials.
  • Possess a TS/SCI and successfully passing CI Poly.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent written and oral reporting skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization and customers across geographically dispersed sites.
  • Experience working in DIA a plus.
  • Must have a valid certification of completion in PII and Cyber Awareness Challenge from Information Assurance Support Environment (Only valid within 30 days of hire). To obtain the certification, visit http://iase.disa.mil/eta/.
