Job description

QED Systems, LLC, is currently recruiting a for a temporary SCIF Monitor (Specialist), to join our team at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, in support of our C5ISR Center HQ Operations Support contract.

Duties:

  • Escort cleared personnel, visitors, and contractors to designated secure areas, maintaining line-of-sight and ensuring they do not leave the designated area without authorization.
  • Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.

Required Clearance:

  • ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Top Secret w/SCI eligibility

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma with three (3) years of Federal Government-related or military experience required.

Travel:

There is no travel associated with this position.

Work Environment:

This position will be performed in government offices. Work environment will also include a space undergoing an active remodeling effort.

Physical Demands:

Physical demands of this position include ability to:

  • Be independently mobile.
  • Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as glasses/goggles (eyes), ear plugs/muffs (hearing), hard hats.
  • Withstand prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and computer use.

This is a temporary position, estimated not to exceed 2 months. The work schedule is Monday through Friday.
