Job Description Endpoint Engineer Location: Tampa, FL (1006 Bearss Ave) Duration: 6-Month Contract Employment: W2 Contract Schedule: Onsite Salary 105,000- 115,000 Overview We are seeking an experienced Endpoint Engineer to support a large enterprise Windows environment. This role is responsible for engineering, administering, and optimizing endpoint management solutions with a strong focus on Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM), PowerShell automation, application packaging, software deployment, and endpoint security. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing enterprise Windows endpoints, automating endpoint administration, maintaining SCCM client health, and partnering with Infrastructure and Cybersecurity teams to improve endpoint reliability, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities Administer and support Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) in a large enterprise environment. Package, test, and deploy enterprise applications using SCCM application packages and task sequences. Create, maintain, and troubleshoot SCCM task sequences for operating system and application deployments.

Monitor SCCM client health and proactively remediate endpoint issues. Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate software deployment, endpoint administration, and operational processes. Utilize Remote PowerShell for enterprise-scale endpoint administration and troubleshooting.

Partner with Cybersecurity teams to remediate vulnerabilities identified through Tenable, Microsoft Defender, or similar platforms. Troubleshoot deployment failures, client health issues, and endpoint performance problems. Collaborate with Desktop Support, Infrastructure, and End User Computing (EUC) teams to resolve complex endpoint issues.

Maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and operational standards. Participate in Windows operating system deployments, endpoint lifecycle management, and modernization initiatives. Required Qualifications 4+ years of experience supporting enterprise Windows endpoint environments.

Strong experience administering Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM). Experience with enterprise application packaging and software deployment. Experience creating and supporting SCCM Task Sequences.

Strong PowerShell scripting experience, including Remote PowerShell. Experience troubleshooting SCCM client issues and performing client health remediation. Experience supporting Windows 10 and Windows 11.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with vulnerability remediation using Tenable, Microsoft Defender, or similar platforms.

Experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint. Experience with Microsoft Intune. Experience with Windows Autopilot.

Knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD). Experience with Digital Experience Monitoring (DEX) platforms such as Nexthink, ControlUp, or Lakeside SysTrack. Familiarity with Secure Enterprise Browsing solutions.

Experience supporting enterprise End User Computing (EUC) environments.
