SCOPE OF ROLE:

The Senior Program Manager is responsible for leading complex, high-impact projects across MSS, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and delivering results that meet quality, cost, and schedule commitments.

The Senior Program Manager will coordinate and drive the successful on-time delivery of projects and products within the Materials Science Solutions. Acting as the primary leader for cross-functional, matrixed teams, this individual will oversee projects through a customized product development process, ensuring new product introductions & critical deliverables are achieved for both the business and its customers with primary focus in the semiconductor industry

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Leads large scale, cross functional projects/programs working closely with key stakeholders, customers, engineers, and operations to drive new critical programs and activities
  • Independently manage high profile, complex projects, and direct project-related customer communications.
  • Drive & coordinate activities for clear execution from proposal coordination through new product development, prototyping delivery to manufacturing readiness as defined in product develop/delivery process
  • Understand and manage risks and opportunities within projects and take responsibilities to work with the team to define mitigation plans ensuring on time delivery of key milestones
  • Occasionally take on management of internal projects to meet organizational needs.
  • Collaborates with other value streams to maintain, improve and implement procedures
  • Learn, train and educate all functional groups on Product Development Process, PDP to support agile structured delivery/development process.
  • Create a culture of continuous improvement by establishing strong partnerships and collaborating cross-functionally (sales, product management, operations).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • B.S. Degree in business, engineering or science field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 7+ years of related professional experience
  • Excellent knowledge of project management disciplines and project team dynamics.
  • Demonstrated successful management of complex projects.
  • Knowledge of organizational change management methodologies and principles.
  • Strong knowledge of business areas' products, strategies and goals.
  • PMI / IPMA / IPMA B registered training
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project leadership, including management of complex projects for a minimum of 3 years
  • Excellent proven analytical, communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to effectively negotiate and facilitate complex problem resolution
  • Ability to influence others to desired outcomes.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively cross functionally.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:

  • Experience with optical and semiconductor products preferred.
  • Knowledge of several product development and project management paradigms.
  • Understanding of tools for continuous improvement, lean six sigma principles, operational measures and/or program management.

ITAR/EAR CRITERIA:

  • These positions may require lawful access to ITAR/EAR controlled information and employees in this role will need to meet those requirements. Requirements include US Citizenship or US Permanent Resident.

Compensation & Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $99,800-140,000. This position may be eligible for performance-based bonus plan and overtime.

The compensation range for this position is $99,800.00 - $149,600.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
