LOCATION OF POSITION: Monroe One BOCES 41 O'Connor Road, Fairport NY 14450, Eastern Monroe Career Center
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: Full-Time
STARTING DATE:ย September 2026
SALARY RANGE:ย  $48,500 - $78,642 per year (or higher depending on BUP negotiations)
*Actual salary is dependent upon education, experience and contract.

DUTIES:












  1. Collaborate with CTE teachers to prepare integrated lessons and assessments for science instruction within multiple CTE programs.
  2. Assist CTE teachers with the instruction of students in theory and application of an integrated science curriculum within a particular career path.
  3. Remain current with science initiatives as they relate to career paths.
  4. Provide students with a safe and orderly classroom environment, extensive guided practice and appropriate supervision for science lab activities.
  5. Maintain records of student progress.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelor's degree or higher in science related field required.
  2. New York State Teacher Certification in secondary science required or be willing to obtain.
  3. NYS Students with Disabilities Certification preferred.
  4. Experience working with CTE students and/or students with disabilities preferred.
  5. Industry work experience preferred.ย
