Science consultants help solve complex problems, guide research and development, interpret data, and ensure that projects adhere to scientific standards. Their work can span fields such as environmental science, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or engineering. What are science consulting jobs?

Science consulting jobs involve helping organizations, companies, and institutions perform scientific analysis and research and improve processes and outcomes. Many science consulting jobs focus on data science. As a data science consultant, you collect and analyze data sets. You then use your findings to recommend improvements to your clients. You can focus on helping clients use data to plan a strategy or improve a marketing, development, or manufacturing process. Other duties and responsibilities may include presenting your findings orally or in writing and helping companies create systems to collect and analyze data.
