Job description

The Archdiocese of St. Louis strives to teach and share our faith, serve others, and foster unity throughout the St. Louis area. Once a part of Kenrick-Glennon Seminary's campus, the Cardinal Rigali Center in Shrewsbury, MO is today the headquarters and curia (governing body) for the Archdiocese of St. Louis.
Job Summary
United by the Holy Spirit, the St. Charles Borromeo School community advocates for each child's spiritual, emotional, and cognitive development to learn, worship, and serve their neighbor while growing in relationship with Jesus Christ.
The Summer Administrative Support position provides clerical and administrative assistance to the Principal during the summer months in preparation for the upcoming school year. This role supports school operations through organization, communication, data management, and coordination of materials and schedules. The position is seasonal, hourly, and non-exempt from overtime requirements.
Job Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the Principal during the summer months.
  • Track, organize, and order textbooks, instructional materials, and classroom supplies for the upcoming school year.
  • Assist with maintaining and updating student information within the FACTS School Management system.
  • Support the coordination and maintenance of the official school calendar.
  • Assist with scheduling meetings, school events, and volunteer activities.
  • Prepare, organize, and file school documents and records as needed.
  • Communicate professionally with school staff, families, vendors, and volunteers.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding student, family, and personnel information.
  • Support the mission, values, and policies of St. Charles Borromeo School and Catholic education.

Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or administrative experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general office technology.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a school environment.
