The 100% employee-owned firm has been a private markets pioneer since its founding over 50 years ago and was inducted into the Private Equity Hall of Fame in 2000.The Vice President, Valuation will lead and support the monthly and quarterly valuation process for Adams Street's private market portfolio including fund investments, equity instruments, and debt instruments. This is a senior individual contributor and team leadership role based in Chicago.Core responsibilities include leading the valuation process for private market investments; developing and reviewing valuation models including DCF, comparable company and transaction analysis, and option pricing models; assessing and documenting key valuation assumptions; preparing valuation memos and materials for internal committees, auditors, and external stakeholders; partnering with investment teams on portfolio company performance; managing relationships with external auditors and third-party valuation firms; monitoring regulatory developments impacting valuation practices; and enhancing valuation policies and governance frameworks.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; MBA and/or CFA preferred; 5-10 years of relevant experience at a Big 4 firm, valuation advisory firm, or similar organization; deep expertise in private market asset valuation across PE, VC, and private credit; proven track record owning end-to-end valuation processes.This role is based in Chicago, IL with hybrid flexibility. #J-18808-Ljbffr
