Job description

Sonoran Science Academy Phoenix is a rigorous, STEM-focused public charter school committed to college-prep education and developing the whole child. We are looking for a warm, highly organized, and professional Front Office & Enrollment Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for students, families, staff, and visitors while supporting enrollment, student records, compliance, and daily school operations. This is a role for someone who understands that the front office sets the tone for the entire school.

Your Role Will Include

  • Serving as the welcoming first point of contact for students, families, staff, and visitors while managing daily front office operations, phones, and school communications.
  • Responding to prospective family inquiries and guiding families through the full enrollment process from initial inquiry through registration, documentation, and follow-up.
  • Supporting Open Enrollment, re-enrollment campaigns, open houses, and other recruitment activities.
  • Maintaining accurate and compliant student records in Infinite Campus, including attendance, immunizations, and compliance documentation.
  • Processing and maintaining documentation for financial transactions and assisting with school-related collections.
  • Supporting National School Lunch Program operations, including daily records, compliance documentation, ADE claims, and required audits.
  • Providing basic first aid and health support, maintaining medication documentation, and communicating with families as needed.
  • Providing administrative support to school leadership across special projects and day-to-day operational needs.

Qualifications

  • Experience in K-12 front office, registrar, admissions, enrollment, customer service, recruiting, or a related field strongly preferred.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
  • Strong communicator comfortable handling challenging conversations professionally.
  • Technology-savvy and able to learn systems including Infinite Campus, Infinite Visions, and Google Workspace.
  • Comfortable working with confidential information and managing multiple priorities.
  • Valid Arizona Department of Public Safety Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Salary and Benefits

  • $21.00 to $24.00 per hour.
  • 7 weeks of scheduled breaks plus 56 hours of PTO and paid major holidays.

Location & Shift Times
