Job description

The front office administrator is the face of our executive team, responsible for a mixture of front desk and back-end operations in a full-time capacity. Seeking a personable, friendly, โ€œcan-doโ€ person who can multitask in a fast-paced, professional office. The successful candidate will be an organized individual who is diligent and has great attention to detail, appreciates systems and logistics, and can manage projects from beginning to end. The candidate should take pride in her work, be responsible and organized, and enjoy working with educators and teens.ย 

Primary Responsibilities could include:ย 

  • Supporting the day-to-day operations of the school

  • Front desk - phone and receptionย 

  • Management of the SIS system (ParentLocker) and other school softwareย 

  • Liaising with technology support to ensure smooth operations of the school

  • Coordination of class schedules, report cards, Regents and AP exams

  • Overseeing arrival and dismissal procedures

  • Liaising with parents, vendors, management, and studentsย 

  • Collaboration with the admin team on event planning and execution

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Warm, collaborative, and committed to a professional work ethic

  • Organized, task oriented, focused, with the ability to multitask

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Computer skills and fluency with office software packages, particularly Google Suiteย ย 

  • Ability to learn new platforms and skills

  • Adaptive to new situations and committed to a growth mindset

  • Attention to detail and follow through to meet deadlines and commitments

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree

  • Two years of administrative experience, preferably in a school
