Description: School Business Administrator/Board Secretary
Job Summary: Oversees all financial management, physical plant operations, and auxiliary services for the Wyckoff School District, a PreK 8 district serving approximately 2,000 students and 350 staff members across five school facilities. Primary responsibilities include managing school financial accounting and reporting in compliance with New Jersey statute, administrative code, and GAAP requirements; developing and administering the annual operating budget; and directing district-wide purchasing, payroll, employee benefits, insurance, risk management, food services, student transportation, plant operations, and facility planning. Serves as Secretary to the Board of Education and enforces district rules, regulations, and board policies.
Qualifications: NJ School Business Administrator Standard Certificate required. CPA preferred. Possess QPA certification. Successful experience as a School Business Administrator or Assistant Business Administrator required.
Working Conditions: Wyckoff School District (Wyckoff, NJ). Full-time, 12-month administrative leadership position.
