Responsibilities

The Neurology Coordinator plays a central role in ensuring seamless clinical operations, timely patient care, and efficient communication across neurology providers, interdepartmental groups, imaging, neurophysiology, and hospital partners. This position supports the growth of neurology practice by coordinating complex scheduling workflows, managing key diagnostic programs, overseeing forms and documentation processes, and acting as a liaison between inpatient and outpatient teams.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Prior experience in neurology, neurosurgery, internal medicine, or another specialty.
  • Three (3) years of experience in a healthcare setting with scheduling, coordination, or care navigation.
  • PREFERRED

     

  • Knowledge of EMR systems 
  • Strong communication, multitasking, and organization skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a high-volume environment.
  • Comfort working with complex patients and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Familiarity with neurology infusion therapies and neurologic diagnostic testing.
  • Experience managing waitlists, procedural workflows, and scheduling optimization.
  • Ability to lead process-improvement initiatives.
