We have been engaged by a client to help them identify a Scheduler - someone with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project background, and someone with offshore oil and gas / offshore projects experience.
We are seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to support offshore operations, subsea installation projects, and marine construction activities. This position will play a critical role in developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules for complex offshore campaigns involving vessels, subsea equipment, installation activities, inspection, repair, maintenance (IRM), and field operations.
The ideal candidate will come from an offshore service contractor, subsea installation contractor, marine construction, or offshore operations environment and possess a strong understanding of offshore project execution and scheduling best practices.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
  • Track project progress, critical paths, milestones, resource allocation, and schedule performance.
  • Coordinate with project managers, offshore operations teams, vessel management, engineering, and clients to ensure schedule alignment.
  • Support offshore campaigns involving subsea installation, IRM activities, vessel operations, and field execution.
  • Identify schedule risks, delays, and recovery opportunities.
  • Prepare schedule reports, progress updates, look-ahead plans, and management presentations.
  • Participate in project planning, forecasting, and execution meetings.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of project scheduling experience within offshore oil & gas, subsea, marine construction, or offshore services.
  • Proficiency with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project is required.
  • Experience supporting offshore vessel operations, subsea installation projects, offshore construction, or IRM campaigns preferred.
  • Strong understanding of project controls, scheduling methodologies, critical path analysis, and project execution.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced offshore environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
