Iron Mountain is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our Clutter team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe operation of turret forklifts and scanning equipment to keep our inventory moving accurately.
Clutter, now seamlessly integrated with Iron Mountain, is disrupting the self-storage and moving industries by offering affordable, flexible, and dependable service nationwide, driven by cutting-edge technology.
Schedule: Clutter operates 7 days a week and schedules will vary on a weekly basis depending on business needs. Weekend availability is required.
What You'll Do
In this role, you will:
Operate turret forklifts to collect, load, and put away items, ensuring every pallet is picked and staged for success.
Collaborate with the warehouse team using wireless Radio Frequency (RF) scanning equipment and smartphone software to perform audits and cycle counts.
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company quality standards while performing routine equipment inspections.
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:
Proven Expertise: 3+ years of experience operating powered forklifts with a strong understanding of various material-handling equipment.
Physical Capability: Requires lifting up to 50 pounds independently and assisting with team lifts for larger assets (up to 400 pounds). This role involves the frequent use of moving equipment including dollies, lifting straps and hand trucks as well as the manual disassembly of items on-site to ensure safe and efficient handling.
Technical Aptitude: Comfort using smartphone software and technology to track and manage data during the workday.
Safety First Mindset: Must be at least 18 years of age with a high regard for workplace safety OSHA standards.
