Job description

System One is actively seeking an Outside Sales Representative for a direct hire opportunity located in Tampa, FL, supporting scaffolding projects. Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers by identifying their needs and providing effective solutions through our products and services.
  • Present and promote company products and services to prospective clients using a consultative sales approach.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to expand the customer base and strengthen market presence.
  • Respond to and resolve customer concerns in a timely manner to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Provide management with ongoing feedback regarding customer needs, market trends, competitive activity, and opportunities for new products or services.
  • Attend networking events and industry functions to generate new business opportunities and build professional relationships.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering team to develop design concepts and facilitate drawings that meet customer specifications and project requirements.
  • Prepare accurate equipment take-offs from engineered drawings and internal designs for handoff to the operations team.
  • Organize and participate in Lunch & Learn presentations to educate potential customers on company products and services.
  • Create and deliver clear, detailed proposals outlining products, services, and pricing.
  • Utilize the company CRM system to manage customer relationships, maintain accurate records, and track sales pipeline activity.
Outside Sales Requirements:
  • Previous outside sales experience within the scaffolding, construction, or related industry
  • Proven ability to maintain and grow existing accounts while actively pursuing new business opportunities
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with estimating and preparing project-related quotes or proposals
  • Familiarity with CRM software for customer and pipeline management
Compensation:
  • Salary with 3% to 5% of monthly receivables commission
  • Vehicle Allowance - $600/month
