Job Summary

The Inside Sales Representative plays a key role in supporting Eastern's revenue growth by managing inbound requests, generating new opportunities, and supporting field and channel sales teams. This role ensures timely responses to customers, accurate quoting, CRM hygiene, and consistently high customer experience. The position is ideal for a detailoriented, proactive communicator who thrives in a fastpaced, technical sales environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead & Opportunity Management

  • Serve as the first point of contact for inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and web submissions.
  • Qualify leads and creates opportunities within Eastern's sales framework and CRM systems (NetSuite, Salesforce, or equivalent).
  • Support Direct and Channel Sales teams by preparing quotes, validating configurations, and gathering required documentation.
  • Coordinating promptly with Channel Managers, BDMs, and field sellers to ensure timely followup.
  • Maintain CRM accuracy through opportunity updates, task tracking, and activity logging.

Quoting & Proposal Support

  • Generate product and services quotations, including radios, accessories, warranties, and BeOn/LTE services.
  • Work crossfunctionally with Engineering, Operations, and Program Management to validate bill of materials, lead times, and compatibility.
  • Assist in assembling customerready proposal packages and documentation required for procurement or bid submissions.
  • Process requests for pricing, availability, and product information from dealers and internal stakeholders.

Customer Engagement & Account Support

  • Provide hightouch customer service for existing accounts; manage transactional sales and renewal opportunities.
  • Support customer onboarding by coordinating with Customer Care and Order Management.
  • Manage order changes, backorder communications, and status updates.
  • Develop customer relationships that support longterm retention and account growth.

Internal Coordination

  • Partner with Channel Managers, BDMs, and Regional Sales Leaders to align on territory needs, funnel development, and lead prioritization.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to distribute promotional content, send targeted outreach, and ensure accurate messaging when communicating promotions
  • Participate in sales forecasting discussions and pipeline reviews.

Administrative Excellence

  • Maintain accurate customer records.
  • Ensure compliance with internal quoting rules, discount structures, and promotion terms (including MBPspecific requirements).
  • Help standardize sales processes and documentation across the sales organization.
Requirements
  • 2-4 years of experience in Inside Sales, Sales Support, Customer Success, or similar role
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities in a deadlinedriven environment
  • Experience with CRM platforms (NetSuite, Salesforce, or similar)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong attention to detail and followthrough
  • Customer-service mindset with problem solving capability
