In this role, you'll work as part of an experienced, integrated sales team while building strong relationships with customers and growing Weyerhaeuser's business throughout the territory.

Weyerhaeuser is searching for a Dealer Sales Representative to support customers throughout Fayetteville, Greenville, Jacksonville, Wilmington, and surrounding eastern coastal markets of North Carolina markets. This position must live within the territory. The DSR is an outside sales role responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with building materials dealers and other key customers while promoting Weyerhaeuser Distribution's full portfolio of engineered wood products, commodities, and specialty building products.

Primary Responsibilities:

CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIPS & MARKET PRESENCE
Own and develop the dealer and buyer relationships with assigned customers, serving as a trusted partner and primary face of Weyerhaeuser in the market. Spend meaningful time with customers understanding their businesses, identifying needs, and developing solutions that create value. SALES GROWTH
Profitably grow sales by identifying opportunities within existing accounts and prospecting for new business throughout the territory. Proactively ask for the business, grow Weyerhaeuser's share of wallet, and develop relationships beyond the existing customer base. Promote Weyerhaeuser Distribution's full portfolio and use strong product and market knowledge to influence buying decisions and provide solutions that create value beyond price. Develop and execute customer growth plans, promotions, product launches, training, and market pull-through activities that create incremental sales and strengthen customer partnerships.

TEAM COORDINATION
Partner closely with your Inside Sales Representative to develop and execute customer strategies, follow up on sales opportunities, and resolve customer issues. Collaborate across Customer Service, Inventory, Operations, Suppliers, and other Weyerhaeuser teams to deliver a consistent customer experience. Gather and share market intelligence on customers, competitors, products, pricing, and demand while providing input on product mix, inventory, and market opportunities to support customer and site success.

We manufacture and sell an innovative collection of proven structural framing materials to the residential, multi-family and light commercial markets, and provide seamless building solutions, from design to installation to support. This team moves fast, works smart and never stops pushing to be and stay number one in the industry.
