We're looking for an experienced and passionate Community Manager to lead our beautiful senior apartment community in Brea. This is an onsite live-in position, offering a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the daily lives of our senior residents while building your career with a company that truly invests in its people.


Compensation

$25.00 โ€“ $30.00 per hour | Plus onsite housing

What You'll Do

As Community Manager, you'll be the leader of a thriving senior residential community โ€” overseeing operations, championing resident satisfaction, and building a high-performing team. Your core responsibilities include:

  • Developing and managing financial and revenue goals, including annual budgets and key metrics
  • Providing monthly variance analysis and reporting to senior leadership
  • Overseeing all resident move-ins, move-outs, lease approvals, and lease compliance
  • Proactively resolving resident concerns to deliver an exceptional living experience
  • Managing accounts receivable and enforcing company policy for non-payment
  • Negotiating and overseeing service providers to ensure quality, timely, and compliant work
  • Reviewing and approving vendor invoices within established thresholds
  • Monitoring the local market, competitive landscape, and business conditions impacting operations
  • Ensuring all legal paperwork and actions are handled in coordination with legal and accounting teams

Leading Your Team

You'll directly supervise property staff โ€” including maintenance and leasing teams โ€” and play a hands-on role in building a motivated, well-supported workforce. Supervisory responsibilities include:

  • Interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training team members
  • Assigning and directing work, conducting performance appraisals, and providing coaching
  • Addressing employee concerns and resolving workplace issues in alignment with company policy

What We're Looking For
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree strongly recommended)
  • 5+ years of experience in the multifamily housing industry
  • 2+ years in a Community or Resident Manager role
  • Proven supervisory and property management background
  • Knowledge of landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations
  • Flexibility to respond to after-hours emergencies as needed
  • California Real Estate Sales License recommended
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
  • Must be willing and able to reside onsite at the community
