Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION:


We are looking for an SAP Technical team member (ABAP and Fiori) to support development activities for SAP Finance in the area of Revenue Recognition (RAR module) and related SAP initiatives. The role involves working with functional teams to understand requirements (in the business area of Equipment Leasing - Sales and Operational Leases), prepare technical designs, develop ABAP objects, support testing, resolve defects, and ensure high-quality delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and enhance ABAP objects for Leasing, RAR, and finance/logistics processes.
  • Work on reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, CDS/OData, and integration objects.
  • Work on creation of Fiori applications in the area of Finance and RAR using SAP BTP
  • Analyze functional specs and prepare technical designs.
  • Support unit testing, UAT, defect fixes, and production issue resolution.
  • Debug and troubleshoot standard/custom SAP issues.
  • Ensure performance-optimized, standards-compliant, and clean-core aligned code.
  • Coordinate with onshore/offshore teams and provide regular status updates.
  • Maintain technical documentation and transport details.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Strong SAP ABAP & Fiori experience, debugging skills, knowledge of enhancements/BADIs, reports, interfaces, IDocs/RFC/OData/CDS, and good understanding of SAP FI/CO, SD, Leasing, and RAR processes.
