Our client is a roadway system and as a part of their digital transformation they are implementing a solution based on SAP BRIM & Microsoft Dynamics CE.


Data-Core Systems Inc. is seeking an SAP BASIS Administrator for BRIM (SOM, CI, CC, FICA, CM)to be a part of our Consulting team. You will participate and effectively contribute to the design, development, and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies. You will provide technical expertise and systems design for individual initiatives. You will have an opportunity to work with other SME consultants from our existing team.


Roles & Responsibilities:

SAP BASIS Administration & Support.

  • Administer and support SAP BRIM environments and related SAP landscapes.
  • Perform SAP system installations, configurations, upgrades, patches, refreshes, and system copies.
  • Support SAP BRIM components including:
    • SOM.
    • CI.
    • CC.
    • FI-CA.
    • Collections Management (CM).
  • Maintain system health, stability, and operational availability across development, testing, QA, and production environments.

System Monitoring & Performance Optimization.

  • Monitor SAP application performance, system resources, interfaces, and background jobs.
  • Analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks and system issues.
  • Perform tuning activities for SAP application servers, databases, and integration components.
  • Support capacity planning and system optimization initiatives.

SAP Transport & Change Management.

  • Manage SAP transport processes across multiple environments.
  • Coordinate system changes, releases, and deployments.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise change management and governance procedures.
  • Support audit and compliance activities related to SAP operations.

Security & User Administration.

  • Support SAP security administration activities including:
    • User management.
    • Role assignments.
    • Access provisioning.
    • System security configurations.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity and compliance teams to maintain secure SAP environments.
  • Support vulnerability remediation, patch management, and security monitoring activities.

SAP BRIM Technical Support.

  • Support technical operations and troubleshooting for:
    • SAP BRIM interfaces.
    • Billing and invoicing processes.
    • Convergent Charging operations.
    • Financial posting integrations.
  • Collaborate with functional and development teams to resolve technical issues and system defects.
  • Support middleware and API integrations related to SAP BRIM environments.

High Availability, Backup & Disaster Recovery.

  • Configure and support:
    • Backup and recovery processes.
    • High availability configurations.
    • Disaster recovery environments.
    • System failover testing.
  • Participate in business continuity and disaster recovery exercises.

Cloud & Infrastructure Support.

  • Collaborate with infrastructure and cloud teams supporting:
    • Azure.

    • Hybrid SAP landscapes.
  • Support infrastructure provisioning, system migrations, and cloud optimization initiatives.
  • Assist with SAP HANA database administration activities as needed.

Automation & Operational Improvement.

  • Develop and maintain operational automation scripts and procedures.
  • Support monitoring and alerting tools for SAP environments.
  • Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and process improvement.
  • Assist with DevOps and infrastructure automation initiatives.

Documentation & Knowledge Transfer.

  • Create and maintain:
    • System architecture documentation.

    • Configuration standards.
  • Provide knowledge transfer and mentoring to internal support teams.

Production Support & Incident Management.

  • Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis activities.

  • Provide on-call support as needed for critical enterprise systems.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 7+ years of SAP BASIS administration experience.
  • 3+ years of direct experience supporting SAP BRIM environments.
  • Proven experience supporting enterprise SAP production systems.
  • Strong understanding of SAP landscape architecture and operations.
  • Hands-on experience supporting:
    • SAP SOM.
    • SAP CI.
    • SAP CC.
    • SAP FI-CA.
    • SAP Collections Management.
  • Experience with:
    • SAP installations and upgrades.
