Position Summary:

Sanding of furniture and furniture components to achieve optimal product for final finishing.

Key Responsibilities:

Sanding of furniture and components

Use of Air operated palm sander, hard block, assorted blocks and foam to sand.

Use of machine sander

Sanding Veneer

Responsible to look for scratches and putty areas that may need to be filled with proper color putty.

Steaming of dents

Breaking of edges on drawers, doors and other case good parts that will run through the machine sander

Racking of items as they are completed by order number and room number.

Must also learn to run stroke sander

Ability to lift a maximum of 50 pounds

Compensation range for this role is $20.00 - $22.00. Relevant salary considerations will include candidate qualifications and experience, other business/organizational needs and market factors .
