Job description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hardwood Floor Sander & Installer to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in transforming people's homes through expert flooring installation, sanding, and restoration. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in floor sanding, flooring installation, and related construction trades, bringing energy and precision to every project. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality craftsmanship while ensuring safety and efficiency on every job site.


  • Prepare a house for work
  • Sand hardwood floors using power tools like edgers, cabinet edgers, drum sanders, and buffing machines.
  • Stain and coat hardwood flooring using a variety of finishes
  • Fix imperfections as needed
  • For new installations, remove existing flooring and prepare subfloors
  • Measure, cut, and install hardwood flooring
  • Ensure precise layout and professional finish
  • Maintain a clean and safe worksite
  • Communicate clearly with team leads, clients, and customers

Requirements

  • 6+ Months of previous hardwood floor sanding, installation and finishing experience preferred
  • Must have driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Must be punctual
  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
  • Ability to work independently or with a small crew
  • Good communication and time management skills
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
