Job description

Sander – Full-Time

Warren Truck & Trailer, LLC is a family-owned manufacturing company looking for a dependable and hardworking Sander to join our production team in Talco, TX.

This position is responsible for preparing dump bodies, trailers, spreaders, and other truck equipment for paint by sanding, grinding, cleaning, and prepping surfaces. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well as part of a team. If you like hands-on work and take pride in doing quality work, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do:

Sand and prep metal surfaces for paint

Prepare dump bodies, trailers, spreaders, and truck equipment for finishing

Use sanding tools, grinders, and other hand tools safely and correctly

Remove rust, weld splatter, and imperfections from metal surfaces

Clean and inspect surfaces before paint application

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Follow safety procedures and company policies

Work with the paint and production teams to meet deadlines and production goals

Assist in other shop duties as needed

Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines

Ability to perform physical labor throughout the day

Manufacturing, sanding, grinding, or body prep experience is a plus, but not required

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift at least 50 lbs

Standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout the day

Ability to work in a shop/manufacturing environment

Use of hand tools and sanding equipment daily
