Until flledHours: 15 hours per week. Schedule is 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Monday through Friday when school is in session for students. It is a 180-day work schedule each school year.
Start Date: Immediate opening.
Salary and Benefits: In accordance with the paraprofessional bargaining unit contract. Starting pay rate is $17.00/hour.
Ideal Candidate Will Possess:
  • High School diploma
  • Experience working with young children
  • Sensitivity to the needs of young children
Responsibilities:
  • Supervising students (Grade 1 - Grade 5) for safety and appropriate behavior on the playground and/or in a classroom setting for indoor recess
  • Helping students resolve minor conflicts with their peers
  • Observing student behavior
  • Consistently circulating the playground area (or classroom) to observe student interaction
