Summary:

To accurately and efficiently cut, tag, assemble, pack, & ship samples to customers.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Pull specified samples from stock
  • Layout fabric properly and neatly
  • * Cut fabric to correct sample size
  • * Serge samples
  • Assemble various types of samples
  • Tag samples
  • Input fabric tags
  • Pack & ship samples
  • Follow departmental and corporate policies
  • Practice good safety and housekeeping procedures
  • Use materials and equipment effectively
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • *Non-essential duties and responsibilities for purposes of ADA

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High school education or equivalent plus additional specialized training
  • Basic math skills
  • Must be able to stand/walk majority of day
  • Good organization skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills which work effectively with others
  • Knowledge of fabric helpful
